There are no permanent enemies and no permanent friends in politics is a popular proverb that is used widely. In many instances, this is proved and yet again two politicians who are known for having contrasting ideologies came together to discuss various things with a bigger cause. Their meeting is sending shocking waves now.

It is known that Telangana Rashtra Samithi Founder-chief Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao is gearing up to enter national politics and working on it seriously. After reportedly informing about the same to the senior members of his party, he met a former Parliamentarian the other day.

KCR is on a spree of meeting like-minded leaders and Chief Ministers of other states to bring an alternative front to take on the mighty BJP. As part of that, he met Vundavalli Arun Kumar, a former MP who is now a big political analyst and public speaker.

The point that needs to be mentioned here is that Vundavalli Arun Kumar and KCR had opposite ideologies. During the intense movement for statehood for Telangana from the combined Andhra Pradesh, Vundavalli, who was with the grand old Congress back then severely opposed the proposal, while KCR led the movement from the front and even sat for the protest.

After the meeting, Vundavalli Arun Kumar spoke to the media and spoke highly about Telangana Chief Minister KCR. Calling the Chief Minister a person who has a better understanding of politics and issues related to politics, Vundavalli said his proposal is the need of the hour.

The common point that brought Vundavalli Arun Kumar and KCR together is the anti-feeling the duo has with the saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party. KCR waged a war with the Union government over the Paddy procurement. Since then, the war has been going on. The Paddy procurement is believed to be the main reason behind KCR reviving his national politics aim.

Taking a cue from KCR, his party leaders including IT Minister KTR are taking forward the fight against the BJP. The other day, the TRS Working President took a dig at the BJP over the GDP and attacked the party on its double engine model.
