One District That Rejected The TRS

TRS juggernaut may have rolled on unhindered all across Telangana, but there is one district which has almost completely rejected the Pink Party. The car, which ran full throttle in all other districts had to hit a road block in Khammam district. In all the other districts, the TRS has got significant majority.But, in Khammam district, the TRS could win only one out of ten seats. TRS candidate Puvvada Ajay has won from Khammam.
Analysing the reversal in Khammam, KCR said the party had faced problems from within. He said that several TRS leaders had worked at cross purposes and tried to defeat one another. Interestingly, this has happened in several other districts too. But, the party has somehow managed to overcome it. But in case of Khammam, the rebels and the dissidents did the party in.
KCR himself called the leaders and spoke to them after the results. Sources say that the TDP campaign too had a positive effect unlike the other districts, where it had the negative district. As a result, even the stalwarts from the ruling TRS too have been defeated.
The TRS may have a lot to answer about the way Khammam district has rejected the TRS.
