All the opposition parties and like-minded parties have one thing in common, which is to defeat the mighty Bharatiya Janata Party. Efforts are underway for this. Keeping aside the debate on whether the efforts would result in a fruitful outcome, things are underway to take on the BJP.
We are seeing how BRS is making efforts for this. On the other hand, leaders like Mamata Banerjee and Arvind Kejriwal are drawing strategies to defeat the BJP and Narendra Modi. Experts say that the opposition parties would show stars to BJP if they come under one roof.
Amid this, noted political strategist Prashant Kishor who worked with the Bharatiya Janata Party and many other regional parties made some shocking comments on the 2014 polls. He predicted what would happen in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Prashant Kishor said that the opposition parties might not defeat the BJP as their ideology is not looking strong. Calling the ideology of the opposition parties unstable, he said nothing would work against the BJP.
Analyzing many aspects, Prashant Kishor said that BJP is very strong in three aspects-Hindutva, nationalism, and welfarism. As far as the pillars are strong, the opposition cannot do anything and cannot pose a threat to the Centre. He asked what the parties can do if the opposition parties cannot even hit two pillars.
"If you want to challenge the BJP, you have to understand its strengths - Hindutva, nationalism, and welfarism. It is a three-level pillar. If you can't breach at least two of these levels, then you can't challenge the BJP," he said.
On top of this, he also asked what Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra achieved in its journey. So it appears that the chances of opposition parties defeating the BJP are very less.
