Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar who is currently busy with the Praja Sangrama Yatra demanded that the Liberation Day should be celebrated in the state and he has written to the Telangana Chief Minister KCR in this regard.

In the letter, the state chief urged the Chief Minister to construct Telangana Liberation Spoorthi Centre and the same should be completed by 2022 end. Those who have fought against the Razakars should be honored and their stories should be included in the textbooks, he said.

It is also said that the Telangana wing of BJP is busy making elaborative arrangements to conduct a big meeting in Telangana. The Nirmal district might host the meeting, while Union Home Minister Amit Shah might grace the meeting as the chief guest for the meeting.

The Congress party, which is in full josh after Revanth Reddy taking over the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee(TPCC) is also gearing up for a meeting on the same day. The meeting is likely to be held in Gajwel. Given the fact that Gajwel is the Assembly constituency of CM KCR, the T Congress has taken the meeting prestigious.

Unlike the BJP, the T Congress is said to have named the meeting as Dalitha Girijana Atma Gourava Sabha, on the lines of the meetings being held by the Congress party. The political heat in the state had increased at once with two parties holding meetings on the same day.

Coming to the ruling TRS, the party is said to be sticking to the tradition of keeping the celebrations simple and the celebrations are likely to be restricted to a Flag Hoisting event.
