PM Modi recollects his interaction with Rosaiah Garu

Ex-Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh Konijeti Rosaiah passed away on Saturday. The prolonged illness of the veteran politician is the reason for his death. Condolences are pouring in for the sudden demise of the senior-most politician from the Telugu states.

The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi had expressed his grief over the passing away of the former Chief Minister and Governor. Taking to Twitter, Narendra Modi recalled his interactions with K. Rosaiah Garu. Narendra Modi remembered how he and Rosaiah served as the Chief Ministers of Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh at the same time.

Narendra Modi added that his interaction with Rosaiah continues even after the former Chief Minister served as the Governor of Tamil Nadu. The Prime Minister opined that the service he made to the public will be remembered.

"Saddened by the passing away of Shri K. Rosaiah Garu. I recall my interactions with him when we both served as Chief Ministers and later when he was Tamil Nadu Governor. His contributions to public service will be remembered. Condolences to his family and supporters. Om Shanti,"the Prime Minister tweeted.

In his Tweet, Narendra Modi shared a picture in which he and Rosaiah can be seen talking. While Rosaiah is saying something, Narendra Modi is listening carefully to the veteran politician.
