The Pakistan international team, which is gearing up for Newzealand series faced a rude shock as not less than six players have come in contact with the novel Coronavirus.

The New Zealand Cricket (NZC) issued a media release on the unwanted development. The positive players have been shifted to the quarantine facility, according to the protocols.

Following this, permission given to the Pakistani team to practice for the game in isolation was also revoked by the New Zealand team subsequently.

The Pakistan tour of New Zealand starts in December with practice matches. Pakistan will take on Black Caps for three T20s and two test matches.

The Blackcaps will tour Pakistan in 2021 for a historic series. This marks New Zealand’s tour to Pakistan after sixteen long years.
