Coronavirus Infections In AP Rose To 6,54,385

Andhra Pradesh continues its free to report over 7,000 fresh Coronavirus infections daily as over 7800 new infections were detected in the state in the past 24 hours.
In the span of 24 hours, 76,000 samples were tested in the state, while 7,855 people were found infected with the virus. So far, a total of 6,54,385 were diagnosed with the virus.
Andhra Pradesh, which is carrying out the highest number of pandemic tests among the southern states pass surged 53 lakh-mark in pandemic tests. 53,78,367 samples have been tested in the state so far.
On a brighter note, the total recoveries in the state are heading towards 5.5 lakh-mark with as many as 5,79,474 recoveries including 8,807 patients being cured in a single day. There are 69,353 active cases in the state.
In the last 24 hours, 52 patients succumbed to the contagious disease. With this, the total fatalities in connection with the novel Coronavirus zoomed to 5,558.
East Godavari, which is the worst-affected region in the state with the Coronavirus outbreak has a total of 91,142 positive infections, followed by West Godavari(61,651) and Chittor(57,555).
