Finally, at long last, ten days after the polling got completed, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan woke up and began the process of reviewing the voting trends and also studying the chances of victory in the just concluded elections. On Sunday, he held a review meeting with the party candidates from North Andhra, twin Godavari districts, Krishna and Guntur. This is the region where Pawan Kalyan pinned all his hopes.
During the review, it came to light that most candidates did not put complete efforts. Many were found to have taken up only a subdued campaign giving rise to doubts that they have compromised with the rivals. Pawan reportedly expressed dissatisfaction over the way the campaign was conducted. He is said to have commented that it was at best half-hearted. Pawan, sources said, is trying to identify the seats where the party can hope to win.
