Pehelwan Who Attacked Akbaruddin Owaisi Dies

Powerful pehelwan of the Old City's Barkas under Chandrayanagutta and inveterate rival of Chandrayanagutta MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi Mohammed Bin Yafei passed away in Yashoda Hospital on Tuesday night. He was under treatment for various ailments. He was admitted to the hospital sometime ago.
He has shot to fame eight years ago when he and his family members attacked MIM MLA Akbaruddin in broad day light. They stabbed him and shot at him. Akbar had to be rushed to a hospital where he was treated for a long time. Akbar is said to be still suffering from the after effects of the attack. The police could remove only one bullet and the remaining bullets in his body have affected his health considerably. He had even gone abroad for treatment.
Mohammed pehelwan had a land dispute and felt Owaisi was trying to weaken him. He had been in prison for several years and is currently out on bail. He is still fighting the case.
