Petrol Reaches Rs 75 per litre

With the prices of petrol and diesel increased by 5 paise and 10 paise per liter respectively, the petrol price has reached the 75 Rs mark in more than a year. This price hike came after the oil firms have raised the prices as the cost of production is also on a rise.
The rates of petrol and diesel in the national capital, Delhi are fixed at Rs 75 and Rs 66.04 per litre.
The price of petrol has increased by Rs 2.30 per litre in the span of one month. While the petrol prices were fluctuating between 65-66 per litre.
The prices saw a hike soon after the drone attacks on some of the biggest onshore fields of Saudi Arabia that took place in mid-September.
The changes in the fuel prices are based on the international fuel prices and the exchange rates of rupee and dollar.
