Police bust Sharmila's deeksha, arrests her

YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP) leader Y.S. Sharmila who has been fighting against unemployment in Telangana had announced Nirodyoga Deeksha. She reached the Boduppal region in Hyderabad for the Deeksha. A tense situation erupted in the region with the arrest of Sharmila.
Saying that she has no permission to stage the Deeksha there, the cops took her into their custody and shifted her to the Medipally Police Station. The cops had to clear her supporters and followers before arresting Sharmila, which led to a confrontation between two parties.
As another development, the labor workers had staged a protest near the Peerzadiguda area saying that they were brought here saying that they will be given Rs 500 each for sitting at the protest site till 6 PM. They had alleged that they were not given the money that was fixed earlier.
With the labours raising slogans against the YSRTP leaders, the leaders present stepped in right away and took the labours aside, and pacified them. It was a bit of embarrassment for the party leaders as the slogans came when Sharmila was being shifted to a police station.
