Primary school student tests Covid-19 positive in AP, authorities seal school!

With the fresh infections decreasing rapidly, the Andhra Pradesh government permitted the Primary schools to reopen from February. Students testing Covid-19 positive is an area of concern.



As the latest development, a class third student in Andhra Pradesh has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. The fresh infection was found on Saturday, media reports claimed.

Going into detail, a third standard student, who studies at the Veluru village of Chittoor District was tested positive for the pandemic, which left his fellow students and teachers worried about the virus transmission.

Following this, the authorities have sealed the school and directed the students to not come to the school until further notices. Contact tracing of the student has been started by the authorities.

The district authorities have appealed to the public and students to follow the appropriate Covid-19 behavior like wearing a face mask and maintaining a physical distance outdoors.
