Congress General Secretary for Uttar Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi joined the Twitter band wagon on Monday. The National Party announced the entry of Gandhi Scion on social networking site at 11.49 am. Since then, Followers count kept increasing after every minute. Priyanka attained the support of 25,000 followers within a hour. By 6.30 pm, She managed to touch 88K and going strong.
Priyanka Gandhi is yet to place any tweets on her handle. She, however, followed the Twitter Handles of seven prominent personalities. This include Rahul Gandhi, Ahmed Patel, Sachin Pilot, Ashok Gehlot, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Randeep Singh Surjewala.
Congress Leaders realised the importance of Social Media presence after the shocking defeat in 2014 Elections. Rahul Gandhi kept attacking PM Modi on the Social Media to establish himself as a tough competitor. And now, Priyanka Gandhi has come forward to give a moral boost to the party leaders and workers ahead of 2019 Elections. The 47-Year-Old will be campaigning extensively and contesting from Uttar Pradesh in the upcoming elections.
