Prof. Kodandaram To Contest As MLC?

It is now almost certain that Telangana Jana Samithi leader and former Telangana JAC supremo Prof Kodandaram is all set to enter the political arena for another time. He is planning to contest as an MLC from the graduates constituency. If sources are to be believed, he is doing the groundwork for the same.
Sources say that he has already met the Telugu Desam Party, the left Parties and the Congress seeking support. These parties have reportedly expressed their solidarity with him. Interestingly, Prof. Kodandaram did not approach the BJP, which has a strong presence in the region and wants to contest from the same seat. But, will he inadvertently help the TRS by splitting the anti-TRS votes is the big question before the political analysts.
Prof. Kodandaram's political foray in 2018 elections ended as a fiasco. His party got very few seats in the alliance with the Congress and failed to win any of them. What more? It could not get its security deposits back.
