YSRCP MLA Puvvada Ajay may be unlucky in not getting a ministry in the Telangana government. Though he hoped he would get, the ministership eluded him. But, he is proving to be lucky mascot for others. Anyone who contested against him and lost the election, is going to go up in politics. Yes. Strange, but true.
In the 2014 elections, his rival was Tummala Nageswara Rao of the TDP. This former minister lost the battle to Puvvada Ajay. Ajay became an MLA but see what Tummala Nageswara Rao became. He joined the TRS and became a minister. KCR made him an MLC. The end result is, Puvvada Ajay was a mere MLA, while the man he defeated was a minister.
In 2018 elections too, he defeated TDP candidate and industrialist Nama Nageswara Rao. Today, Ajay is again a mere MLA, while Nama Nageswara Rao has all the chances of becoming an MP. If a coalition government is formed, he might as well become a minister at the centre. So, anyone who wants to climb up the success ladder in politics may contest and get defeated at the hands of Ajay Puvvada.
