Superstar Rajini makes interesting comments about Venkaiah Naidu

Superstar Rajnikanth is usually not known to make political comments that could kick up a controversy. Mild-mannered Rajinikanth never makes politically loaded comments. However, he has recently made a comment that may not exactly be music to Narendra Modi's ears. He said former vice president Venkaiah Naidu was meted out a raw deal.
Speaking at a function organised in Chennai, where Venkaiah Naidu was the chief guest, Rajini said that the vice president's posts has an elaborate protocol but has no real powers. Instead of wasting Venkaiah Naidu's talent in the ornamental post, he should have continued as a Union minister for some more time.
Of late, Venkaiah Naidu has been sending enough indications that he has been prematurely retired from politics. He has been saying that he was still active and in good health to serve the people. In his speech in Chennai, Venkaiah Naidu reminded that he had advised Rajini not to enter politics. He recalled that he had told Rajini to focus on films.
In his speech Venkaiah Naidu said that he felt that there were many avenues to serve the people. Even without being in politics, one can serve the people. He said that one should not stop the service of the people of the country. Several other luminaries were present at the meeting.
