In the wake of 17 infections of the ongoing pandemic detected in Ayodhya, the Uttar Pradesh government led by Chief MinisterYogi Adityanath took a crucial decision in regard to the temple construction site.
It has been reported that all the invitees of the Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan should undergo pandemic tests and they will be allowed to enter Ayodhya only if they test negative for the virus.
This decision came after many leaders, including former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Uma Bharti, who was invited for the ceremony contacted the virus.
The Bhoomi Pujan will take place on the 5th of August and many VVIP's including Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the ceremony. Following this, the government imposed many travel restrictions in the city
Police personnel were deployed in the state for the security of the VVIP guests and along with them, the pandemic warriors will also come in hand. As per the new restrictions, more than five people cannot gather at public places.
