All Set For KCR & Revanths Legal Battle

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao laid the foundation stone for the new Assembly and Secretariat recently. He decided to spend as much as Rs 400 crore for the demolition of old buildings and construction of new buildings.

KCR is least bothered about the objection raised by the Opposition Parties over splurging of the Tax Payers money on new buildings instead of adjusting in the old structures. Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy went a step ahead and moved a petition in the Telangana High Court against the decision of the Chief Minister.

The Firebrand Leader brought to the notice of High Court that current Assembly & Secretariat are in good condition and they could last for three decades from now. He complained that the sole reason behind the construction of new buildings is 'vaastu'.

Accepting Revanth Reddy's petition, High Court directed the Telangana Government to file its counter. The next hearing has been posted to July 8th.
