England fast bowler Jofra Archer brought the time traveler in him during the lockdown period when his old Tweets resembled the current event. Netizens fondly call him a time traveler. As a sudden surprise to Indian fans, a star Indian player had stepped into the shoes of Archer and pulled off his stint. The player made the netizens go crazy.

It is known that Rohit Sharma was made the T20 captain as Virat Kohli stepped down as the skipper. The home series against New Zealand is a start for the new era for Rohit Sharma in his new position. Ahead of the first match with New Zealand Rohit Sharma's nine-year-old tweet went viral and this kept Twitter on fire.

Rohit Sharma had started his cricketing career with the Mumbai team. He had led the team in the Ranji trophy. Back in 2012, he reached Jaipur for his captaincy and made a tweet on the same. In the tweet, he said, he is eagerly waiting for the new responsibility.“Touched down in jaipur and yes I will be leading the side, looking forward to the added responsibility," his tweet reads.

In what could be the peaks of coincidence, Rohit Sharma's new responsibility as the captain for the T20 format had started in the same Jaipur. He took the team towards the victory as a good start for the series and his captaincy journey.

Netizens could not keep calm after the old Tweet of Rohit Sharma became viral and they came up with interesting memes and comments on the same tweet. While a few netizens have called Hitman Rohit Sharma as a better version of Jofra Archer, whose old tweets did the same, a few netizens went on to compare him with veteran Hollywood director Christopher Nolan.

Famous Sports Producer Sarang Bhalerao had come up with an interesting explanation on the old tweet and what are the similarities in both instances that have Jaipur as the common point. He said, in 2012 Rohit Sharma led Mumbai in Ranji Trophy for the first time in Jaipur and at the same place, Rohit Sharma is gearing up to lead the team as the T20 skipper.
"First time Rohit Sharma ever led Mumbai in Ranji Trophy was in Jaipur (KL Saini ground) in 2012. First time Rohit Sharma will lead India as a full-time T20 captain will be in Jaipur," the sports producer tweeted.
