The new orders issued by the principal secretary of Agriculture department C Parthasarathi, the state government has ordered the administrative department to sanction Rs 5,100 crore out of the Kharif budget of Rs 12,862 crores.

It has been widely reported that the government wants to reduce the burden of this Rythu Bandhu scheme and they are trying to put a seal for 10 acres. With this, the government can save thousands of crores of rupees.

Going into details, till now 44.92 lakh farmers were given the Kharif money for 1.09 crore acres of land. Interestingly all these farmers own less than ten acres of land. This is adding fuel to the rumours of the government’s plan to seal the scheme to 10 acres of limit.
