It is known that things are not going well between Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao and Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan for quite some time. On many occasions, the duo expressed reservations about the other party. The Governor alleged that the Chief Minister is not respecting her office.

The Telangana government launched an indirect attack against the Chief Minister over the flood situation in the state. Without taking any names, Tamilisai said that it is good to do politics over the floods. She said that the union government granted funds for the flood situation.

Her comments should be seen in line with the war of words between IT Minister KTR and Union Minister Kishan Reddy. Talking about the floods, KTR lashed out at the union government and alleged that the Centre is not giving a helping hand to the state.

In a response, Kishan Reddy said that the union government granted funds and the TRS government is trying to make the issue political. Now governor of Telangana Tamilisai Soundararajan addressed the issue and said that there is no need of using the issue for political issues.

Adding fuel to the opinion that Tamilisai made that comments in reference to Chief Minister KCR, she said that the status quo in the situation between her and the Chief Minister.

On the occasion, the Governor also said that she will stand with the people as she cannot be confined to Raj Bhavan. I won't compare myself with others. I will help people in whatever way possible, she said.
