Biryani Is Not a South Indian Dish: Satya Nadella Corrects Chatbot!

Technology is the need of the hour and we cannot imagine our lives without it. We are even making the technology better. There are even fully self-driven cars that are running on the roads. Big companies are working on artificial intelligence to offer better services.
But an artificial intelligence-based chatbot made a blunder mistake and considered Biryani as a tiffin. During an interaction session, the chatbot took everyone by a surprise and called Biryani a south Indian tiffin. The response came from the chatbot raised many questions about the accuracy of the artificial intelligence.
Microsoft Executive Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella took part in Microsoft's Future Ready Leadership Summit held in Bengaluru. During the summit, Nadella interacted with the artificial intelligence-based chatbot ChatGPT.
When Satya Nadella asked the chatbot about south Indian tiffin, it replied Biryani and elaborated on what is Biryani and how it is made. This surprised many including Nadella. He corrected the chatbot and said that Biryani is not tiffin. Talking about his Hyderabad connection he said that he is a Hyderabadi and cannot take such mistakes.
"I said let's really ask it the question. What about South Indian tiffin? How would you rank all of them? It came back with all of these things that I wish I could have for breakfast every day. And for some reason it thinks biryani is a tiffin," Satya Nadella said.
Satya Nadella corrected the Chatbot and said that Biryani is not a south Indian tiffin. In response, the chatbot gave an apology. "You are right. It is not classified as a tiffin dish in South India," the reply says.
The Chatbot making such a mistake is not a small thing. It has been launched a few months back and is used by many. Despite being used and customers using it as a platform for conversations and interactions it is making such mistakes.
Chatbots are very useful for customers as they offer many services by attending to the messages they receive. The algorithm which comes with the chatbot has all the required conditions to send messages for any queries it gets.
