In what it could be a shocker, ahead of the Bihar polls, Congress veteran and Rajya Sabha member Ghulam Nabi Azad tested positive for the novel Coronavirus on Friday. He is in home-isolation currently.
The serving leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha took to the Microblogging site Twitter to announce the news. He requested people who came in contact with him to follow the Covid-19 protocol.
"I have tested positive for COVID-19. I am in home quarantine. Those who came in contact with me in last few days may kindly follow the protocol," Azad's Tweet read.
The Rajya Sabha member is the fourth senior Congressmen to catch the contagious disease. Earlier, Ahmed Patel, Motilal Vora, and Abhishek Singhvi have contacted the virus.
