Seniors Upset With Chandrababus Rejig

There is disquiet in the TDP over the formation of the new committees. Several seniors with long experience in politics and known abilities to fight for the TDP have been bypassed in the new committees. While it is true that several senior TDP leaders are quite inactive these days and are not responding to even Chandrababu's calls, it is also a fact that many are fighting hard for the party. Yet, in a hurry to build a pro-Lokesh team, Chandrababu has sidelined many leaders.

Seniors like Alapati Rajendra Prasad in Guntur and former minister Devineni Umamaheshwar Rao, who have been fighting for the party during the last 16 months, have been ignored. Similarly, of the three MPs that the party has in AP, only Kesineni Nani has been ignored. The other two MPs have been given key responsibilities. Similarly former Vijayawada mayor Panchumarthi Anuradha and former chairperson of the AP Women's Commission Nannapaneni Rajakumari are said to be deeply upset over being bypassed. Anuradha has been waging a relentless battle through social media against the government. Yet, Chandrababu did not recognise her.

TDP sources say that Chandrababu naidu is talking to the disgruntled leaders who did not get positions of importance in the party rejig. He is said to be telling them as to why they had to be kept aside and is said to be assuring them that their services would be rewarded at a suitable time. As of now, the sidelind leaders are said to be sulking.
