The sensational Gujarat Titans team has had a super journey in the tournament so far. In qualifier 2 played yesterday, the team knocked out Mumbai Indians by a big margin. Batsmen posted a massive target on the board and bowlers did the rest in defending that. With a super win, Gujarat Titans went into finals and the Mumbai Indians team was knocked out of the IPL.

Gujarat Titans batted first and posted a massive target of 234 for the Mumbai Indians team in Qualifier 2. Shubman Gill who is in red hot form in IPL brought another super century. In just 60 balls he scored 129 runs. Sai Sudharsan scored a quick 41. Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan had a good partnership and played a big role in the team setting a high score.

Mumbai Indians' decision to bowl first did not give an expected outcome. The five-time trophy-winning team faced a big blow as Ishan Kishan was injured and did not play the match. Openers were sent back quickly and the team did not recover from this.

Surya Kumar Yadav played his part in taking the team to victory. But that did not happen. His lone fight of 61 in 38 was well supported by Tilak Varma who scored 43 in just 14 balls. Gujarat Titans bowlers did not let the Mumbai Indians players spread things hands freely. Mohit Sharma was the pick of the bowlers and he claimed five wickets for just ten runs. Rashid Khan and Mohammed Shami picked two wickets each.
