Shock Or Big Relief, what CBI will Get in Viveka Case from SC?
X
The shocking murder of former MP YS Vivekananda Reddy is one of the much-talked-about cases in Andhra Pradesh. The case investigation has been going n for close to three years. The Central agency Central Bureau of Investigation is probing the matter and the case going into the hands of the central agency is a big development.

In the course of a couple of years, we have seen many developments, including Dastagiri turning approver and Viveka's daughter Sunitha alleging doubts that people from close quarters might have a role to play in the much-talked-about case.

The case saw another big twist yet again after the probing agency CBI knocked on the doors of the top court Supreme Court seeking directives to revoke the bail granted for one of the accused in the case Yerra Gangi Reddy. He is A-1 in the murder case.

The central agency feels that Erra Gangi Reddy can influence and trouble the witnesses in connection with the case and hence his bail should be canceled. The same was mentioned by the agency in its petition filed with the top court Supreme Court.

Now the question is, whether the Apex Court will give the orders the CBI wanted in the YS Viveka case. The reason behind CBI approaching the Supreme Court is that the High Court said no to what the CBI had asked for. The court said that based on the pieces of evidence it has produced, the court is not satisfied that the accused can influence the witnesses.

With the high court not giving any relief, the agency knocked on the doors of the Supreme Court. Usually, in such matters, the top court sends the matter back to the High Court saying that the HC will have a better understanding of the issues.

Now all eyes are on the Supreme Court to know what the top court will say. Will the Apex Court shock the CBI or grant relief is a point that needs an answer. As the Supreme Court is likely to hear the matter, we might get clarity on this.

It is known that YS Vivekananda Reddy was brutally murdered at his residence in Pulivendula on the 15th of March in 2019. Just before the elections, he was killed and the murder case attracted everyone's attention.
