Shocking: Ad claiming the sale of Remdesivir drugs appears n OLX!

The vaccination drive against the novel Coronavirus is going on at full speed, which has resulted in several medical facilities running low on Remdesivir injection, an anti-viral drug reportedly.
The fraudsters are banking on hospitals running low on Remdesivir and selling the injections at the black market for high rates. The fraudsters are even selling the injection on OLX.
As per the media reports, an advertisement appeared on OLX claiming the same of injections. In the advertisement, the injection was fixed at Rs 6,000. The advertisement has shocked everyone.
The new advertisement surfaced when the authorities are looking for black marketing of Remdesivir. A few black market rackets were busted by the Drug inspectors recently.
On the other hand, the Union Government said that strict action will be taken against people involved in black marketing of the injections and said, the companies have been directed to increase the production of Remdesivir drug.
"Companies manufacturing coronavirus drug Remdesivir have been asked to ramp up production. I assure you that strict action will be taken against those who are involved in black marketing of the drug and other malpractices," Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said.
The other day, the Pune Police busted a racket that is selling Remdesivir injection illegally. After conducting raids, five accused have been arrested and four vials of infections were seized.
