Renowned Indian badminton player PV Sindhu rubbished all the rumours of a rift with her family and her coach Pullela Gopichand. The Olympic silver medalist took to social media and denied all these rumours.

Talking about her London visit, the badminton player said, she was in London to work on her "nutrition and recovery needs with GSSI" and she took the consent of her parents before leaving the country

In her lengthy post on the Social networking service Instagram, she rubbished all the rumours on the rift within her family and her coach Pullela Gopichand. She said the reports should know the facts before writing them.

"I came to London a few days back to work on my nutrition and recovery needs with GSSI. Infact I have come here with the consent of my parents and absolutely they were no family rifts in this regard. Why will I have problems/issues with my parents who have sacrificed their lives for my sake," she said in her post.

"Mine is a very close knitted family and they will always support me. I am in touch with my family members everyday. Also I do not have any issues with my coach Mr Gopichand or the training facilities at the academy," she further added.

Earlier, some media reports claimed that the Badminton player left the country in a huff and the coaches at the academy have been informed by the player that she be staying in London for eight to ten weeks.
