Sonia Gandhi decided to hold a meeting with the parties supporting UPA, those opposing NDA and also the ones which have taken a neutral stand. UPA Chairperson has sent invitation to UPA Allies and Non-NDA Parties for the crucial meeting scheduled to happen on the counting day, May 23rd.
Interestingly, Sonia Gandhi extended an invitation to TRS, YSR Congress and BJD apart from TDP. Whether or not, TRS, YCP and BJD attends Sonia's Meeting depends solely on the election results.
KCR met MK Stalin recently for inviting DMK into Federal Front. However, The DMK Chief asked TRS Supremo to think about extending support to UPA.
After Modi's meeting with Naveen Patnaik, Congress got alerted and began sending feelers to the BJD Chief. Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath spoke personally to his Odisha Counterpart and invited him to the meeting organised by Sonia Gandhi.
TRS and YCP will decide whether to attend the meeting or not depending on the results.
TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu is most likely to attend the meeting as he badly wants Congress to form the government.
