Sonia Trusts Sharad Pawar More Than Chandrababu

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu may be doing lot of drama and may be moving from place to place seeking support for the Congress Party. But, the man the Congress Party is depending upon for negotiations is sharad Pawar. His NCP is an associate of the Congress Party and is part of the UPA. Sonia Gandhi entrusted the task of contacting fence sitter parties that are neither in the NDA nor in the UPA to NCP chief. So, he has been in contact with Telangana’s TRS, AP's YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Odisha's Naveen Patnaik.
Though NCP chief tried to meet YS Jagan, the latter was not available as he was abroad. But, the YSRCP never confirmed it officially. Similarly, NCP sources are claiming that NCP chief has met TRS boss in his farm house. But, nothing is official about it. As for Naveen Patnaik, he has not confirmed anything so far. Though the contacts date back to the time of Rajya Sabha deputy chairperson's election, Naveen Patnaik's office has never said it was positive.
Ever since the polling is over NCP is trying to be in touch with these three parties, but without much success.
