India has found a real hero in actor Sonu Sood when the novel Coronavirus has hit the country very hard. Instead of showing just lip sympathy, Sonu Sood has come forward to help those who are in need.
Lauding the actor for his help, his fans have put forth the demand that he should be honoured with Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award of the country. A few celebrities have also joined the force to endorse him as the next Prime Minister of India.
Sonu Sood finally reacted to the growing demand from fans that he should run as the Prime Minister of India. The other day, he was interviewed by some photographers in Mumbai. The actor was asked a question on this.
Reacting to the question of him running as PM, the real-life hero said, he is not interested in politics and he would prefer to be a common man and help others in the tough time.
'Hum aam insaan ache hain bhai, aam insaan better hain,' Sonu Sood told the reporters on Tuesday., which loosely translates to I’m better off as a common man.’
Elaborating more on the idea to join politics, Sonu Sood said, when his brothers are contesting the elections, what work will he have there. It is not my work to join politics, he said.
Sonu Sood became ‘messiah to the country with his help during the Covid times. After helping migrant laborers reach their native places and making sure that Covid-19 patients receive treatment, the actor is now helping India with medical oxygen.
Recently, the actor placed an order to procure oxygen plants from France, which will be set up in four severely-hit states in India. The oxygen plants are expected to reach India in 10-12 days.
