Sonu Sood says he turned down two Rajya Sabha offers!

Actor Sonu Sood who turned Messiah for hundreds and thousands of Indians during the lockdown period was in the headlines for the wrong reason. Allegations of tax evasion to the tune of Rs 20 crore were leveled against him. The shocking allegations came a day after IT sleuths surveyed his properties for two consecutive days.
When people are in big shock hearing the news, real hero Sonu Sood spoke to a leading news channel which marks the first interview of him after the alleged tax evasion row made it to the headlines.
Sonu Sood said that they gave all the documents that were asked by the officials during their raids and said he had answered all the questions asked by the officials. The process of providing documents is going on, Sonu Sood maintained.
Sonu Sood said that he is a law-abiding person and rubbished the rumours of violating the law. He said each and every penny that was donated by donors in this regard should be accounted for. I am making sure that the money is spent for the right cause and the needy should be helped, he said.
Clearing airs on his political entry, Sonu Sood said he was offered Rajya Sabha seats two times but he declined the opportunities as he was not mentally prepared to get into politics.
Talking about the money that comes into his trust, Sonu Sood said, the money includes the donations from others, a portion of savings, and the money he gets from his endorsements. Sonu Sood has been receiving support from all corners after the tax evasion news came out.
