During the regime of the previous Telugu Desam Party (TDP), the then Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu bought South Korean multinational automobile manufacturer Kia motors to Andhra Pradesh.
Dubbed as the biggest ever investment to have come to Andhra Pradesh after the bifurcation of the state, along with KIA other companies were also set up in Andhra Pradesh's Anantapur region.
The other companies were set up alongside Kia to complement the production of the luxury vehicles. As it is a foreign company, employees and workers from there have come to the state.
To see that the employees who came from South Korea won't face any issues getting groceries and other commodities a supermarket was also sent up in Anantapur.
The supermarket consists of even a restaurant that serves special dishes from the country to the customers.
