The Union Government's body Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade(DPIIT) which comes under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in India released a report on how the states and union territories are faring in start-ups by looking at various parameters.

One of the richest states in the country Gujarat was ranked the best city on the list as the state is home to more than 14,000 start-ups. For the third consecutive time, Gujarat was ranked the best on the list.

Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Telangana, Jammu, and Kashmir were declared as the top performers on the list. Telugu state Telangana competing with rich states like Maharashtra and God's own country Kerala shows the growth of the state.

When Telangana is going on such a good path, the other Telugu state Andhra Pradesh is not having a good time as far as the start-ups are concerned. While TS is competing with biggies, AP is competing with Mizoram and other states that are seeing the least start-ups.

The list is made by looking at various parameters like the support the firms get in funding, market conditions, and mainly the Infrastructure the state or the region offers.

Talking about HYD, the capital city has IT Corridor and most of the firms and start-ups come there. The road accessibility and other facilities make it the best space for the big companies and small companies to set up their establishments.

If we look at Andhra Pradesh, there is no such place. Forget about such a place, the state has no proper capital. These factors are resulting in start-ups blossoming in Telangana.
