If there is any case that has shaken the political spectrum at once, then it has to be the alleged liquor scam that was unearthed in the national capital Delhi. The Delhi government faced a big blow with this and a few members of the cabinet were arrested as well. Telangana Chief Minister KCR's daughter is also an accused in the case. The opposition parties even alleged that the purported scam is a trap to target the parties using false cases.

The case took a big turn with the Supreme Court giving a shock to MP's son Magunta Raghava Reddy. Recently, Delhi High Court granted an interim bail of 15 days to him. He moved the High Court seeking bail as his grandmother is not well. The Court granted him interim bail.

The Enforcement Directorate which is probing the case moved the Supreme Court challenging the verdict of the High Court. In the petition, the central agency said that Magunta Raghava Reddy would influence the witnesses in the case and would tamper with the evidence.

Hearing a petition, the bench gave its order and restricted the bail for just five days. In the order, the bench said that Raghava should surrender before the court on the 12th of this month. The happiness of getting an interim bail did not last too long for Raghava as his bail was canceled by the Supreme Court.

Raghava Reddy is Andhra Pradesh YCP MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy's son. The ED has been saying that Raghava Reddy has a role in the scam and he might be a part of the Indo Spirit company. The MP's son is also facing allegations that he is also involved in the money that is said to have been involved in the scam.

Based on the allegations, Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy's son was arrested and sent to jail. He was granted bail recently and he went to see his grandmother who is ill. But things took an unexpected turn with the issue reaching the top court of the country, the Supreme Court, and the Apex Court directed him to surrender before the Court before the 12th.
