Seeing the plight of India during the Covid-19 period, the western nations are coming forward to lend a helping hand to the country. The list of countries offering help to India is getting bigger and bigger with each day passing

Switzerland, Netherlands, and South Korea have joined the list of countries to help India. Flights with Covid supplies from the two nations have reached the national capital Delhi on Wednesday.

The flights carrying the medical supplies including Oxygen Cylinders, Concentrators, and other medical devices from Netherlands and Switzerland have landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.

On the other hand, South Korea has sent medical equipment including 200 oxygen concentrators. The medical supplies reached the national capital earlier today. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) thanked the nation for its timely help.

Since the second wave of the novel Coronavirus has started in India, several countries have come forward to help India. Earlier, the United States, Qatar, Kuwait, Ireland, Hong Kong, and other nations have sent medical supplies.

India has been going through a devastating situation with the deadly second wave of the novel Coronavirus. With more and more people contacting the virus, hospitals are receiving a flood of patients. Several hospitals running low on medical oxygen is a serious concern for India now.

In the last 24 hours, India saw as many as 3,48,421 new coronavirus infections and a record single-day fatalities with 4,205 losing their lives. The total infections and fatalities have mounted to 2,33,40,938 and 2,54,197 respectively.
