TDPs Hardwork Working in Getting Friendly Hand from BJP?

The relations between TDP and BJP changed at once post the 2019 polls. Before the polls, Telugu Desam Party went against the saffron party and waged a war against the party. To bank on the criticism faced by Bharatiya Janata Party, TDP accused the party of neglecting the state. However, the move backfired and BJP said no to friendship with TDP.

Realizing the mistake he did, Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu is trying his best in changing the status quo of friendship between the parties. Before BJP asked for it, TDP extended its support to BJP's candidate in Presidential polls and is doing the same for the vice-presidential polls as well.

The opposition Telugu Desam Party even took part in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav event to mark the 75 years of India's independence. Many leaders of the opposition party changed their DP and replaced the previous DPs with the Indian national flag.

It appears like the hard work of the Telugu Desam Party is paying off as the saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party is hinting that it is ready to extend its friendly hand to Telugu Desam Party. Recently, the party chief was invited to Delhi.

Adding fuel to this, the chief of Bharatiya Janata Party for the state of Andhra Pradesh Somu Veerraju stunned everyone with his comments about Chandrababu Naidu. Recently, he said that it would have been if TDP had not ended ties with BJP as Andhra Pradesh would have been developed in a big way.

As if it is not enough, Somu Veerraju even called Chandrababu Naidu as a visionary leader. Drawing a comparison between Chandrababu Naidu and current chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said that the former Chief Minister is a visionary leader, while the current Chief Minister is not.

Somu Veerraju made these comments while talking about the support, the Bharatiya Janata Party is doing for the state of Andhra Pradesh as the union government. He said that, as Chandrababu Naidu is a visionary leader, the BJP granted and released funds. The Centre is not giving funds as Jagan is not a visionary leader. Looking at these developments, it is appearing that TDP's hard work is paying off.
