TDP Is Doing All It Can Fighting For NTR University!

The opposition Telugu Desam Party suffered a big shock with the Andhra Pradesh government changing the name of the NTR University which was built in their regime to YRS University. Saying that YSR is a pro-poor leader and brought many initiatives in the health sector, the government took the decision.
TDP is doing all it can do to oppose the development. The TDP leaders created a ruckus in the house when the bill was passed and as a result, they were sent out of the house by the Speaker. Out of the house, the legislators held a protest and asked what authority the government has to do so.
The opposition party also issued a statement opposing this. The Telugu Desam Party leaders are condemning the status quo of NTR's name for the University, which was the brainchild of the TDP founder. Social media is filled with posts and comments by TDP supporters and followers on this.
As another step by the opposition party in the development, the Telugu Desam Party members led by Chandrababu Naidu met Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan and complained to him about the controversy. The meeting happened at the Raj Bhavan.
It looks like meeting the Governor is the last hope of the Telugu Desam Party now. Though the grand old party complained to the Governor, we have to wait and see what the Governor can do in this regard.
