Telugu Desam Party received a huge setback. Party senior leader and former minister Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu passed away on Tuesday midnight at the age of 71. Since a couple days, He was suffering from fever and undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad. Attempts of Doctors to save him hasn't yielded results.

Family Members, Followers and People of Telugu States were shell shocked to know about the sudden demise of Gali Muddukrishnama. This TDP MLC's residence is at Padmavatipuram in Tirupati.

Born on June 9th, 1947, Gali Muddukrishnama is the son of G Ramanaidu and Rajamma. He began his career as a Lecturer in Arts & Science College after completion of education. He made his political entry inspired from the call given by NT Rama Rao before 1983 polls.

Gali served as Minister during NTR's regime. He have the knack of fighting for the issue he takes up till the very end and capable of exposing the flaws in political opponents. He, however, faced defeat in 2014 Polls contesting against Roja in Nagari Assembly constituency. Later, TDP Leadership made him an MLC.

The Former Minister holds the record of winning in Puttur Constituency as many as six times. He worked as Education and Forest Minister in the past. For few years, Gali was in the Congress Party. He came back to the parent party in 2008 and won from Nagari, which was separated from Putturu, in 2009 polls. He would have become Minister again had if he won in 2014 Elections.

Sudden demise of Gali Muddukrishnama is an irreparable loss to TDP & his Supporters. May His Soul Rest In Peace!
