TDP Losing Its hold On Visakhapatnam Region!

Opposition Telugu Desam Party(TDP) which once enjoyed a stronghold in the Visakhapatnam region, is losing its grip in the region as the party leaders are keeping themselves away from party activities.

Vizag South MLA Vasupalli Ganesh recently met AP CM Jagan at the CM Camp office. While Ganesh's sons joined in YSRCP, the MLA is continuing in the TDP party.

Political analysts opined that Vasupalli Ganesh might follow the footsteps of fellow TDP MLAs Vallabhaneni Vamshi and Karanam Balaram and support the ruling YSRCP while wearing a TDP shawl.

Out of four MLAs in the region, three MLAs Ganta Srinivas Rao, Gana Babu, and Vasupalli Ganesh are believed to be in favor of ruling YSRCP. Despite bearing the TDP representation, the trio is likely to support the government.

The rumors of Ganta and Gana Babu shifting their loyalties to YSRCP surfaced again after Vasupalli Ganesh met CM Jagan. However, Minister Avanti Srinivas is strongly opposing Ganta Srinivas's entry into the party.

If Ganta Srinivas Rao manages to join the YSRCP party, then Gana Babu and a few more MLAs might also leave the party.

On the other hand, Visakhapatnam area leaders are believed to be not happy with the TDP's stand on having Amaravati as the capital city.
