Former CM and TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu, it appears, is not clear on how to attack YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and on what issue. He is hell bent on staying in the news by fighting YS Jagan's government, but does not know how to. He is picking up any issue that comes his way and rakes up a fight. But, before the fight is taken to culmination he is abandoning it for another issue.
Take for instance his fight on the issue of non-availability of sand. A big movement was built and a lot of ruckus was created. He even sat on a 12-hour dharna on the issue. Before the issue could reach fruition, Chandrababu Naidu shifted to the issue of English medium. He opposed it tooth and nail and soon realised that the people were not with him on the issue. So, he quietly abandoned the issue of Amaravati. He even organised a Chalo Amaravati and tried to get maximum mileage. In between, he tried to take up issues like Polavaram and reverse tendering. All these issues were raked up, a movement was built up, but at the end of the day, Chandrababu simply abandoned it for another issue.
Why is Chandrababu doing this? Sources say despite his many agitations, he does not find the party cadre actually backing him. There is great disinterest in the party cadre over issues such as these. Chandrababu finds that the cadre is keeping away from such issues. So, he immediately takes up some other issue. But, this way, he would end up exhausting all the issues that could help him politically.
