TRS Candidate Attempts Suicide

TRS candidate attempts suicide after he failed yo get a ticket. TRS candidate Abdul Rahim who tried to commit suicide filed a nomination from TRS party, expected a seat from 39th ward, he filed a nomination with a grand procession. Morrisette Sudha Rani, who was also campaigning from the same ward got the seat. After hearing the news Abdul Rahim tried to commit suicide in his residence. Local residents noticed it and saved him.
The Municipal elections will be held on 22 January and the results will be declared on 25 January. The time for filing the nominations for 120 Municipalities and 9 corporations ended at 3 pm on Tuesday. The final list of candidates will be announced this evening. A total of 25768 nominations were received for 3052 seats across the Telangana state. 432 nominations were rejected.
