Tanuku tussle: YSRCPs latest headache
X
Internecine squabbles seem to be getting better of the YSRCP. In most constituencies, there are group tussles and many key leaders are not seeing eye to eye. In West Godavari's Tanuku, the infighting came to the fore during the inauguration of the YSR Pension Scheme on December 2.

The scheme was launched by MSME Development Corporation chairperson Vanka Ravindranath and Tanuku YSRCP town president's brother Sairam Reddy. However, they did not invite MLA Karumuri Nageswara Rao. This became a huge issue and in the heat of the argument, the MLA allegedly used some derogatory words. Protesting against the abusive language, Tanuku town president SS Reddy resigned from the post.

Reacting to this Karumuru Nageswara Rao said that some people want to throw him out of the MLA post and want to occupy his position. He said he had come up the hard way. "I had won as a ZPTC and later as an MLA through my hard work. I have even helped my adversaries. But, today, some people are spreading canards against me," the MLA said.

The Tanuku tussle has become a major headline for the media and a big headache for the YSRCP. The YSRCP leadership is working hard to iron out differences, but unfortunately, some new dispute is coming up from somewhere. This has become a matter of serious concern for the party's thinking heads.
