Slight indiscretion in times of Corona could prove extremely costly. A software techie relialised this when he posted an inappropriate tweet on Corona. This man, who was employed with the tech giant Infosys, was immediately sacked as the company found that the post was irresponsible and against the Company's policyof zero tolerance towards inappropriate acts.

Mujeeb Mohammed, an employee of the Infosys, tweeted, "Let's join hands, go out and sneeze with open mouth in public. Spread the virus. Spread the word to end the world." Immediately, the Twitterati began criticising him for the inappropriate remark, which goes against the global efforts to eradicate Corona virus. The Infosys did not just sack the employee immediately, but also announced it on Twitter: "The social media post by the employee is against Infosys' code of conduct and its commitment to responsible social sharing. Infosys has a zero tolerance policy towards such acts and has accordingly, terminated the services of the employee."

Later, the Infosys sent another tweet saying that Mujeeb Mohammed was indeed their employee and that it did not support his acts. The lesson from this incident is – be responsible while commenting on the social media. You could end up losing your job and your respect.
