Telangana Cops Do Search Operation With Maoists Scare?

Maoists were once a strong force in the Telangana region. During the combined Andhra days, Maoists used to pose a big threat and the government had a special focus on the Maoist leaders. Post the bifurcation, the Telangana government dealt with the forces with an iron fist. Nearly eight years after the state's formation, Maoists started getting active in the state again reportedly.
Media reports say that the Police department in Telangana received credible information from the intelligence that Maoists are targeting three MLAs from the ruling TRS and recce was done. This made the cops swing into action to look for the Maoists.
It is said that the Maoist leaders are getting active once again and from the neighbouring states, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh, the leaders are running the show and doing recce here.
As per the reports, the Maoists reportedly focused on Bellampalli MLA Durgam Chinnayya, MLA Balka Suman, and Korukanti Chandar. Making them as the target, the recce was done and for that, a few Maoists entered the state. The cops kept themselves busy with the search operations and Combing activities in the areas where the Maoist movements are active.
Besides doing the recce, the Maoist leaders are said to have focused on making the cadre active again and inviting more people into the Maoist party. It has been a long time since the Maoist leaders used to be active in the state. A few reasons made the Maoists weak in the state.
It is said that people from a few villagers took part in the event hosted by th Maoists in the region and the cops were also informed of this. This made the cops intensify the efforts to search for the Maoists in the region. The border regions saw some search operations from the Telangana police while searching for the Maoists.
All of a sudden, the Maoists became active again. Earlier, we heard that Maoists are becoming active in Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and others and carrying out their activities. Now the same trend was forayed into Telangana as well, which is not a good trend and the cops are looking into it.
