The news of setting up a casino in Gudivada for the Sankranti festival kickstarted a political storm. The opposition parties have been aggressively launching a fierce attack against the government over the issue. Keeping the flame in the issue still burning, a bunch of complaints were filed in this matter already.

The opposition Telugu Desam Party(TDP) that has been breathing fire on Kodali Nani over the Casino issue tried to reach Gudivada to see if there is any such establishment like a Casino in the city. However, the political heat increased at once when the TDP leaders en route to Gudivada were arrested by the cops in a middle way.

After a brief period, the TDP leaders were released, who were on their way to reach Gudivada. The call given by the TDP leaders to reach Gudivada led to a tense situation. Looking at the high-tense situation, the Police department had swung into action to take precautionary measures.

As part of the precautionary measures, Police personnel were deployed in large numbers at the Convention Centre where the Casino is said to have been set up for the Sankranthi season.

As there is a possibility that the YSRCP and TDP cadres might face-off which has high chances of reporting unwanted situations, the Police Department gathered at the Convention Hall. One question everyone has in their minds is, whether the Police Department will permit the TDP leaders to visit Gudivada in the tense situation or not.

The TDP which is going all guns open against the ruling outfit had formed a fact-fighting committee to look into the matter and see the truth behind the alleged Casino. The Committee that was constituted by the TDP party comprises the likes of Nakka Anand Babu, Varla Ramaiah, Kollu Ravindra, Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, Rajendra Prasad, and Tangirala Soumya.

Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies Minister Kodali Nani had finally responded to the matter and dared to prove the matter. Breathing fire on the opposition parties for spreading such news, Kodali Nani said that, he will leave politics and commit suicide if the Casino charge framed against him were proved.
