Given the Covid scare in the state, earlier in May, the Andhra Pradesh government had postponed the class 10 and 12 exams and said, the government will take a call on the exams in July.
Giving more details on the conduction of the exams, Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh made it clear that the exams will be held once the situation gets under control. There is no question of suspension of the exams.
Marking World Environment Day, the cabinet Minister had planted saplings in Rajahmundry today and spoke to the media. During the interaction, he found fault with the opposition parties batting for the demand to suspend the exams.
"Class 10 is the foundation for higher studies and jobs. We are not saying that we will conduct exams now. The exams will be held once the situation gets under control. But the opposition parties are creating a fuss out of this without a reason," the Minister said.
