This Ex-TDP Rajya Sabha MP speaks like RSS Swayamsevak

When they joined the BJP in the aftermath of the stunning victory of the BJP in the 2019 elections, the three TDP Rajya Sabha MPs did not speak much. They silently worked their way into the party. They never spoke the language of the BJP. Their response on many issues was very unlike the BJP and the RSS. But, three years down the line, they seem to have learnt some lessons from the BJP's aggressive Hindutwa.
The term of these three MPs - Sujana Chowdary, CM Ramesh and TG Venkatesh - is likely to come to an end in mid-2022. There is little chance that they would be renominated to the Rajya Sabha as the BJP does not have the required numbers in the AP Assembly. Even in Telangana, the BjP has three MLAs and they cannot possibly get Rajya Sabha MPs of their choice. So, staring at a certain political oblivion, three MPs, who also have several financial cases against them, are now singing the Hindutwa tune to save themselves.
Of late, TG Venkatesh is talking about the plight of Hindus in AP. Speaking like a typical RSS leader, he attacked the government and the communal elements among the minority communities for fomenting trouble in Atmakur. He also said that the district administration and the Jagan Government were giving more importance to the minorities to garner their votes. He also slammed the Jagan government for the attacks on the temples.
He said that anyone speaking about the Hindus is being branded as communal. This is wrong. At least some people in the minority community are promoting terrorism and fundamentalism, he said. He said that the government too was resorting to minority appeasement to garner votes.
