While KCR is doing everything he can to weaken Etela Rajender, the latter is planning in his own silent manner to undercut KCR. Etela, who has realized that bypolls to Huzurabad assembly constituency hold key to his political fortunes, has planned something big and bold. He is planning to ensure that he becomes the candidate of the united opposition.
If sources are to be believed, Etela is trying to convince the leaders of the BjP, Congress and the Left Parties not to put up any candidate against him when the Huzurabad goes to polls. Thus, he will become the rallying point for the anti-TRS voters and will be able to channelize the anti-incumbency forces against the TRS. He can then raise issues like unemployment and oppression of the BCs. Sources close to Etela said that he had already discussed the issue with Bandi Sanjay, Uttam Kumar Reddy and Revanth Reddy. Given his Left background, he is confident of getting the Left support too.
Thus, the fight becomes Etela vs TRS and this will benefit him. He would be able to build a mood against KCR and his misrule. Will KCR allow Etela to have his way? Will he pull the strings and make the Congress put up candidates and make it a three-cornered contest? Let's wait and see..
