What is the lynchpin of the YSRCP's strategy to achieve 175 out of 175 seats in the next assembly elections in 2024? If sources close to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy are to be believed, the battle will begin from Kuppam. It is as part of this strategy that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is embarking on a tour of Kuppam for two days starting from September 21.
Highly placed sources say that the Kuppam tour of YS Jagan is part of the plan prepared by Team Prashant Kishor. PK is said to have conducted several surveys across the state in general and in Kuppam in particular. He has reportedly suggested that by tying down Chandrababu to Kuppam, the TDP could be demoralized. This will help in defeating the party in the elections.
Jagan is said to be of the opinion that the party can win from Kuppam assembly constituency. The party has already won the gram panchayat, ZPTC and MPTC elections in a handsome manner. Similarly, it has won the Kuppam municipality. Hence, if the party puts in the right kind of effort, the party can win in Kuppam, feels YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
He is all set to launch the Gadapa Gadapa ku MLA programme in Kuppam. He will undertake a roadshow through the streets of Kuppam to win the support of the voters. He is all set to launch a slew of welfare schemes in Kuppam constituency as part of his tour. Several doles would also be given during the tour.
